Sometimes, a tradition many people hold on to don’t fit you and/or your life. Some people live by their traditions because it feels safe. Some live by the seat of their pants. There is a nice middle ground somewhere in there.

Jen and Chad found that middle ground. While working through their wedding planning and preparations, they decided to change a tradition and it was the best decision for them. Perhaps this is a new and beautiful tradition they and their families will hold. Instead of having the father of the bride walk her down the aisle, the bride and groom escorted each other to the altar.

Some found it to be controversial but I believe it to be beautiful. Jen and Chad navigated this decision wil grace and respect to the tradition.
